WELLNESS CHECKS

We provide confidential one-on-one wellness checks to employees in high-trust positions.

These annual or semi-annual 45-60-minute consultations focus on the employee's strengths in coping with job stressors — facilitating the development of additional strategies to maintain high performance while making referrals to clinical services when indicated.

We are familiar with the challenges common to those in public safety positions, with additional clinical expertise in post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders and challenges associated with deployment and reintegration. We also maintain an expansive referral network of mental health providers with cultural competence and experience working with public safety positions.

Our Wellness Checks adhere with the guidelines and standards of the International Association of Police (IACP) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 1582). In addition to these requirements, we provide organizations with aggregate metrics summarizing the number of engagements, themes related to workplace challenges, and referrals made for mental health treatment. This information helps organizational leaders identify opportunities to implement targeted follow-on trainings, workshops, or coaching opportunities to proactively address identified needs. We don't just identify issues, we guide employees to resources, specialists, support, and resources to ensure their readiness.

We use systems compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and are able to provide services in-person or over HIPAA-compliant video conferencing technology.
